About Me

My name is Carissa Waynert, I am a Kelowna, BC based multidisciplinary artist and illustrator. With a formal background in design and over a decade of creative practice, my work spans traditional and digital mediums including acrylic, oil, watercolor, graphite, colored pencil, pastel, ink, charcoal, and digital tools.

I have developed a distinct visual style defined by highly rendered portraiture, dramatic lighting, and cinematic contrast, often blending realism with bold graphic or surreal elements.

My work has been commissioned by private collectors and created for both personal and professional spaces. Through consistent exploration and refinement of my craft, I continue to evolve my body of work while maintaining a recognizable aesthetic.
